Ever heard of the zero dollar marketing method? It’s an age-old buzz phrase that captures the attention of new business owners. The zero dollar marketing method can also be applied to a real estate wholesaling business. In fact, it’s one of the most popular ways to get started wholesaling.
Let’s face it, paid marketing is expensive. When you are first starting out, you need to come up with a strategy to find off-market deals without spending money. - “Hello, I’m Joe and I’m interested buying the house. Please call or text me, 555-555-5555”
- “Hello, I’m Daisy. I have a quick question for you, please call or text me, 555-555-5555”
The first message is a lot more direct so you won’t get as many phone calls, but when you do get a call, there’s a better chance of it being a motivated seller!
The second message is more vague and because of this, you will get more phone calls. This message will pique curiosity and get your phone buzzing. Some people will text you which is great too. You will get some hostile responses, you will also get some owner’s who might not be ready to sell now, but in the near future. This a great way to add leads to your sales pipeline for future follow up.
